Bring ON Spring!!!!!

Kaley and Kaitlyn built a snowman after school. It's about 4 ft. tall. The bad thing is it's hard to housebreak a 5 inch tall puppy in the snow.

KIWI

This is Kiwi. Amanda and I decided to get Kaitlyn a puppy for her birthday a little early. I pray it makes Cinders passing a little smoother. We had a glimpse of what it would be like a couple weeks ago when Cinder had a couple really bad days. Then she snapped out of it and we are back to wondering which day will be the end. Kailtlyn didn't know anything about Kiwi until Amanda showed up with her in her purse. No more big dogs here. Lots of things to remember about puppies. It's been 5 years since we had a puppy around. Kiwi is a dauchund/ chihuahua cross. Very tiny so far. Very sweet with sharp teeth. Cinder thinks she's cute but doesn't want to play with her. Tori (hound dog) loves her and Dakota thinks she's kinda scary. He is afraid of stepping on her. Kaitlyn is in charge of house breaking and feeding while at home but the rest of the time I have another job.

24 hour makeover

I spent Saturday painting and wallpapering my bathroom off my bedroom. I am almost done and so far I like it. I painted the old ugly wood cabinets, the waincoating and the walls. Put up a wallpaper border and decorated the walls and shelves with all my garage sale finds. Now my floor looks terrible but one thing at a time. I need a new mirror too.

When we went to Gas works Park we walked up Kite hill and discovered a sun dial. It had all the zodiac signs as well as numbers out of different colored tiles etc. Kaitlyn thought it was the best part of the park. The rose was at the front of the sun dial. When you got to the top of the hill you could see Seattle in the background to one side with kites flying in the air. Behind the other way was the gas pipes and park. It was a cool suprise at the top of the hill.

Formed out of concrete and delineated with rocks, shells, glass, bronze and many other materials the sundial tells time by using the body of the visitor as stylus. The viewer’s shadow tells the time of day and the season. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_Works_Park

The Ye Old Curiosity Shop and a few of the strange things we saw. Mermaids, two headed animals, rabbits with horns hummmmmmmmm.

Nice weather

Today was so nice outside that it seems like Spring but I am sure it won't last. We worked on the flowerbeds and then Kaitlyn went out and rode horse. Two of the cats came out to watch. While Kaitlyn was riding I was grathering golf balls from the field. It is amazing how many different types of golf balls there are. Living accross the road from a golf course we get quite a few. Love the orange and yellow ones this time. We have had other colors at different times.
Cinder took a turn for the worst not as bad again she snapped out of it. Not as well as last time but again we got paniced and relieved One day at a time.
